And The Truth Is?

I have been reading some news reports, which had been put up on the internet and came across this puzzle. Read, what has been said by the opposition leaders. The first one is Anwar Ibrahim and the second two PAS leaders. The statements were public statements and were carried in news reports. Just in case some of you are wondering if I am making this up. Check Malaysiakini and Bernama. Solve the puzzle!

EPISODE ONE

July 26

Anwar Ibrahim warmed up to the Bandar Tun Razak (Kuala Lumpur) electorate tonight as part of his by-election 'campaign' in a constituency which he claims to be eyeing as a ticket to Parliament. In a hastily arranged ceramah, the charismatic leader spoke to the nearly 2,000 strong multiracial crowd which braved the drizzle throughout the 75-minute speech at a surau compound in Taman Len Sen. Despite the wide range of topics, his main agenda of the night was to signal his intention to contest in the area and test the waters. Needless to say, the crowd gave Anwar the verbal approval when he asked if he could contest the seat which is currently held by Selangor Menteri Besar and PKR comrade Khalid Ibrahim.
"I want to say that maybe, I might contest here," said Anwar to loud roars of approval.

July 27

Opposition icon Anwar Ibrahim said today that he aims to return to parliament for the first time in a decade later this year if a court orders a by-election near his home town.
The high court in Kedah will hear a challenge on Aug 19 asking it to invalidate the result in a seat that was won by his PKR in March 8 general elections.
Anwar told AFP (it was picked up by Malaysiakini) that if the court declares the result null and void he will contest the ensuing by-election.
"My plan is to contest in the Kulim-Bandar Baharu seat. I am optimistic of victory," he said.
"The constituency neighbours my hometown of Permatang Pauh in Penang. I am familiar with the locals there."

Now my question is how can Anwar twist and turn at his whims and fancies play to the gallery without anyone asking question. Well PKR supporters, you tell me? Within not even 24-hours he first says he is thinking of Bandar Tun Razak, then after a night's sleep its Bandar Baru Kulim.

EPISODE 2

This is even better. All in one day!

Yesterday, PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat suggested that UMNO and PAS be dissolved and a new party formed to unite all Malays.
"Such a revelation is startling and has serious ramifications, implications and consequences. Nik Aziz's statement reduces to naught Datuk Seri Hadi Awang's statement in Ipoh, also yesterday, that PAS would not merge with Umno or join Barisan Nasional.
"Obviously, statements made by PAS leaders of late, give the perception that they are out to scuttle the Pakatan Rakyat."

The quotes are not mine, but none other than DAP national chairman Karpal Singh. Go figure!

Dear Saravanan,

1. You are a Deputy Minister. Well, Why worry about DSAI? He is not even a MB yet. He is a normal man who has been working on his own way without any support from anyone and even the BN is attacking him like nobody's bussiness, no media supported him. In 2004 with one seat (DS Azizah - Permatang Pauh)now you can clearly see how he grows. The growth percentage tells PR (PR)shall wipe clean the parliment after next gen election. By hook or crook he is in his mission. Even the latest alegation is making him stronger.
He is a true leader to many eyes... by talking about him you only increase his popularity. He have no harm to anyone as what the TPM has done... Where is Balasubramaniam? Is he a MIC member? Find him, and voice out. He is an INDIAN. Come lah bro.

Lets talk about the INDIAN growth in Malaysia. This blog is for you to listen to public as a communication platform. Don't be like other BN leaders use the blog to attack others as this normaly done by others MPs.

2. What so ever this pAS and the UMNO is going to talk about the growth of the malays. Its been mention clearly this dialog is for the MALAYS Malays Malays malays.... not about the parti "UMNO or PAS". You know what, the Malays realise they are spliting into two... Even the pas leaders are willing to dissolve the parti for the better of Malays. This is what we are talking about "for the people..."
Does any one from MIC leaders have said this for the better of INDIANS, no no no.... still sitting there and claiming MIC his belong to his fathers.

Dear Sara, you are losing to your own boss and he is coming after you. Dont divert the attention.

And the TRUTH is... BN shall lose in the next general election. For your infor, I am not a PKR member nor DAP. I shall be one soon and who knows i shall even be a PAS candidate in the next election. For the record INDIANS done this in the 12th GE.

Regards

IvBala, must be either blind or deaf or even both. The topic, the bdeputy minister put out was the lies Anwar was telling the masses and with people like ivybala around I am sure, Anwar won't stop. Don't la be soo taksub with your so called beloved leader. Be sensiable friend. You missed the whole point in the blog posting. The point is about Anwar lying. Saying one thing today and another tomorrow. It is also about PAS leaders who don't even know what they want. With all this you Mr Ivbala want MIC disbanded and for everyone to join Pakatan Rakyat. For me, its sheer nonsense. I rather be with the devil i know than the devil I don't!

Anwar is a chameleon. How else can you describe someone who once threatened that bells will no longer ring in the temples of Penang, but attends Makkal Sakthi session in Klang Perumal temple, and even puts on vibhuti?

After making full use of Hindraf, now he has conveniently forgotten the Indian community.

Dei Machan,
Don't be too kepochi with what PAS and UMNO are doing. What they are planning is the ULTIMATE pakatan to put the FINAL AAPPU into all the non-malays ass. This will ensure the Ketuanan Melayu forever. Your Tapah sit also will be gone soon to UMNO.

What you should be concern as a Dep Minister and Tapah MP is to think how to join Vicky and bring down your stupid boss once and for all. Without him Indians would've been united and strong. We'd not have to be in this screwed up state now. You were part of this geng all the while.

If you truly want Malaysian Indians to accept you again, do something right that can wash all your sins to this community, once and for all!

Why everyone here so worried about Anwar?

You inebrates out there should use little bit of your cerebral cortex and think who said Hindraf are thugs - Badawi or Anwar?

Who said Indians in the streets penyanggak - Nazri or Anwar?

Who said we should be killed before snakes - Hamidah (UMNO) or Anwar?

Who said 'keling' to YB KUla in parlimen - UMNO MP or Anwar?

Dato Saravanan, you have stooged very low. When UMNO attacked Indians (like Hamidah) I didnt see any comments from you in the papers. When UMNO was talking to PAS, DAP attacked its ally but MIC was too scared to even voice its objection.

Sara, you have no guts. All you do is complain here like a little boy. Be a man and fight UMNO outside like DAP or PKR.

Sara, they have a Malay saying - jaga tepi kain sendiri.

I suggest you jaga your UMNO bosses first.

You are such a liability to the community. We vote you in, but now you sell us by not voicing a single word to the press about Hamidah Othman's racist slur. Want to work with opposition Indian MPs konon.

And now you yourself has published Karpal's comments and Kit Siang has also whacked PAS recently. But what has MIC done?

Have you opposed the Malay racist unity talks that almost made Selangor without one indian assemblyman in government. Is this your so called 'bela nasib orang India'.

We all know you are so scared of UMNO. When Nazri and Badawi called Indians in the streets as thugs, I didnt hear you, in fact MIC called them various things. Samy Vellu said he doesnt know whether or not they are terrorist. After election MIC is begging to Hindraf.

So embarassing

So you think this is what is ailing the country.

Why don't you ask this question.

The police have admitted questioning the Burmese Muslim doctor even before they arrested Anwar. Which means they knew that that doctor had examined and determined that Saiful was not sodomised.

Tehre was no basis for arresting Anwar after taht. In fact the case now should be for the police to investigate and charge Saiful for making a false police report.

Now over to you sir for an explanation.

You guys just plainly ignore the elephant in the room just because you see an ant walking on the wall.

What have you got to say about the muzakarah, or as I prefer to call it, seduction that is going on of PAS by UMNO your bed pals?

They are talking on the basis that there needs to be Malay and Islamic unity.

But may I ask, unity to achieve what? Do they see the need for unity because they see Chinese and indians as their demons? Who do they need to unite against? Or what cause is it that they need this unity for? After all even within UMNO they have never been able to show any kind of unity. And you and your party keep quiet through out all this.

Please sir we see the haemarroids stick out your ass. Why bother with the snot sticking out of Anwar's nose?

Hi All,

I have been to Kelantan b4 a few times.Do any of u guys know that in Kota Bahru Town itself there is a big Hindu temple with a separate hall for holding any functions.
Its just beside KB Mall.If u guys want to go there & see for urself.

Also there is a food court serving chinese(halal & non halal) & indian food. That particular food court serves alcohol drinks for non muslim.(Of course if u drink & drive the police will stop u even in KL).

So there is no worries for indians on any PAS running states in M'sia.

Just a friendly reminder when casting ur vote make sure think twice or more on which party or goverment will be free from coruption, cronies & fight for people's right in parliment.

Thanks.

Dear Dato,

Good to u blogging again but is there any way to post comment in Tamil? I have seen YB Lim Kit Siang's blog in Mandarin thus as Tamil diehard i suggest you take the same step.

I have noticed that MIC apart from its president other leaders have not been vocal in giving out opinions (other than in Tamil Daily's). We also would appreciate our leaders opnion in recent developments suchas Anwar Ibrahims fiasco and PAS + UMNO merger issues.

I hope MIC would take steps to become relevant to all the races. With special interests to Indians.

Thank you again Dato

I have an off-topic suggestion. Other than writing about current issues, why don’t you use your blog to help uplift some Indians? Start with the families who have been displaced from the estates. They are worse off as they don’t know how to adapt to the new environment in the city.
As a Deputy Minister of FT, you should be able to identify families in need. Readers of this blog can also help.
This is what I think should be done.
1. Help one family a week. Publish their story and their needs.
2. You will ensure the need is genuine.
3. The help that is given will allow the family to be self- sufficient. It’s no use giving them food supplies for a month and forgetting about them. (Teaching them how to fish as opposed to giving fish.)
4. Provide job opportunities for the head of household. This is where the business community can help. If you see the Chinese, they have associations that help them.
5. Ensure the children go to school will all the necessities – books, uniforms, shoes. Encourage them to stay in school – provide tuition if necessary. Many children are dropping out of school because they don’t understand what is being taught.
6. Follow-up on the family and keep everyone updated whether they have improved or back-slided.

What do you gain from this? Goodwill. Gratefulness. You would have changed the lives of a few families by the end of the year. Soon, there will come a time where those who were given a leg-up in life, will help someone else.
Why you? You are in a position to help. You have contacts who can help.

Comments? The ball is in your court now.

To the Nadagam guy??...

NADAGAM VENDAM MACHAAN....That is exactly why we don’t wants people like Vicky representing us. We have had enough with gangsters and low class thugs representing our community, lest you think our community comprises of gangsters and low class thugs. Vicky leaving MIC is the best thing that that has happened to MIC in a long time.

As for Samy Velu, leave him to his own devices, he will eventually die a natural death. Lets move on to what really needs to be done…
