Hindraf and PWTC

Below is a news story on a group of Hindraf supporters barging into the Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers Hari Raya open house on the 1st of Hari Raya. Their intention to barge into the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) is still unclear to me. Hindraf, MIC and the whole Malaysian Indian community has made it clear that we want the five Hindraf held under the Internal Security Act (ISA) relased.
With this in mind, I don't see any rational why these group of people, who claim to be the "true Hindraf" barging into the Putra World Trade Centre.
I also saw photographs of a little girl, who is most likely as old as my daughters, being used to submit a teddy bear to the PM. She is the daughter of one of those detained.

This I don't agree. The child will have to bear this physiological scar in later years. We all know that the families of the five years are bearing the consequences of the detention of the five Hindraf leaders. Do we need to drag the child into this and make a spectacle of her.
Apart from the news article, MIC has issued statements on this matter. The party feels that the way these "true Hindraf" supporters behaved, were out of line. Your say please....

Walaupun timbul kekecohan, mereka dibenarkan memasuki dewan atas semangat Hari Raya. Abdullah memberitahu pemberita bahawa kumpulan itu mahu berjumpa beliau secara peribadi tetapi beliau tidak dapat bertemu secara khusus dengan manamana pihak kerana acara itu adalah rumah terbuka Hari Raya.

Dear all,

Don't be such a fool to believe the newspapers. There's no freedom of speech neither freedom of press in Malaysia. If you report the truth, you will be detained in ISA or the newspaper company will get a warning letter. That's a fact. Hindraf certainly didn't create a commotion at PWTC during Hari Raya open house. There has been hundreds of emails flying around with photos of what really happended at PWTC. I bet you had seen it also. And there are photos where Hishamuddin is seen with his wide smile shaking hands with the HINDRAF supporters. The PM and his wife is also seen shaking hands with HINDRAF supporters with a big smile on their faces. The police is the one who provoked the HINDRAF supporters. Why did that Bastard tried to tear the greeting card which the little was carrying?? Do you have an answer?? PLease stop being the running dogs for BN. The more people will hate you MIC!

This time I’ll be patient…. Don't you guys just understand? Please try to think for once. Please stop thinking about ways to make money for yourself and try to make a good decision for once in your life time. Why did MIC lost terribly in the March G.E? Why did Sothinathan lost? Why Komala Devi lost? WHY SAMY VELLU LOST IN SUNGAI SIPUT? Ask yourselfs… Why? Why? Why?
And why Koh Tsu Koon lost? Why Kayveas lost? Why? Why? Why?
Not because all above are bad people or b****rds. No, not at all. They all lost because of BN. People don’t hate Sothinathan nor Koh Tsu Koon (I don’t know abt Samy though) but they hate BN. BN’s arrogance, BN’s inequality, BN’s cronyisms, nepotisms, BN’s corruptions etc. etc. Why can’t you understand that and still want to be the….. Ok I’ll be patient…
People know tens of temples have been demolished in Malaysia for the past 50 years, people knows that temples has been given relocation lands beside sewerage ponds and MIC didn’t move a single finger then but now MIC is making a lot of noise for the demolished temple in Ampang. People know it’s all gimmick, cheap publicity. Don’t you see it? Don’t you understand? Millions of Indians are on HINDRAF’s side, that’s why the turnout at Batu Caves on Thaipusam day was reduced to only a few hundreds only. We all boycotted Batu Caves. Whereas the turnout was close to one million on the previous year. Why Samy Vellu needs to be surrounded by tens of bodyguards when he visited Batu Caves on Thaipusam day. He says he has been fighting for the Indians rights for the past 29 years, then what has he to fear?
For once make a wise decision. Using the press to fire at HINDRAF or banning HINDRAF is not going to win the peoples support especially the poor and marginalized Indians. I would say even MCA is getting back some support from the Chinese because MCA no more agrees on everything the BN gov says. When Teresa Kok was detained under ISA, MCA also voiced out their disagreement. But MIC is still not voicing out for the Indians plights. MIC is still being the slaves of the BN gov. All Indian MP’s are getting more and more richer but the Indian people are getting poorer.

I advise you and all the Indian MP’s in parliament to withdraw from BN’s coalition and become Independent candidates. You don’t have to jump ship, just stay as Independent for now and start voicing out for our rights…. Start asking for more University quota’s, more employment opportunities in the gov sector, business licenses, bank loans, etc. etc. Don’t just sit in front of the PC and blog, start visiting the estates, tamil schools, temples. Do your part, argue with the gov for better infrastructure. Tell BN that you will resign if the demands are not met. After all you are fighting for a good cause right? Be the hero and savior of the Indian community. When you die, your legacy lives on. In year 2058, we will tell our grand children’s that the privileges they are enjoying were fought by Y.B. M.Saravanan. I bet for the next G.E., you don’t even need to campaign, people will automatically vote you in. If you have read Mahabharata, Karna died in the end not because he was a bad person but because he was with the bad company.
Take my strong advise, you are the your Boss. Samy Vellu and Pak Lah is not your Boss. Makkal gave you the power and we have less than 5years to take it back.

Come on bros...
Be a Malaysian and respect others as well. If you dont know, than learn. Never to late for anything. Or learn to say sorry...

Kerepu...
We are malaysians and must learn on how to respect each other. Political issues are political issues. On a celebtration day, we must put a side our different and be Malaysian. Your way of talking and thinking reflecting the true tamilan, go go jo jo and keep everything as a personal agendas. Even in TV3 news its clearly can be heard people shouting "Hidup Hindraf"? How about "Hidup Pak Lah", at least the old man feel "sejuk hati sikit". Do we have to say those chant even in a festival open house. How do you feel if someone come to your open house and chant "Allah Huakhbar" or Hidup PAS. Will you be happy??? This is the culture Indians should stop, dont be so sentimental and malaysian culture must be valued. Its goes to other indians to... revenge and killing. Kill among indians too should be stopped. Karepu, can you gather september newspaper and start counting how many indians are dead (killed)? what you gonna do about it? Is it so important to go to ones festival open house and chant your political sentiment....

Learn from Lim Kit Siang instead and others as well.

Come on la bro....

Dont simply called others kerbau as you too being kerbau for hindraf.... I am not againts hindraf but you kind of attitude guys are making hindraf less popular.

Dear Sara,

Everybody have their say. If you look into it from a democratic point of you, HINDRAF is 100% right. I was there in PWTC and they did not make any havoc. Those who did it was the people around the place or the political members. In a democratic public have the avenue to express their dissatisfaction.

Dear Datuk,

The expression from the indians shows how MIC have not done an inch to help the indians. HINDRAF may not even come into picture if MIC have done their work. This is what happen when public trust a political party like MIC

Karepu don't have to tell your story or read the papers lah, I was there when this incident happen, you people don't know how to behave, there are ppl waiting from from 10am, imagine the immpressions other would give on you leave that aside, they will think all indians are like this, you are an embrasement to the society, please lah stop using Hindraf's name to gain sympthy and using the children for your mileage is becoming. We agree to fight and remorse but not to the extend of going to peoples house when they are celebrating hari raya please lah stop bracking and take the offer people are extending to help you. When you call someone kerbau it takes one to recognise the other....

Curiously, what is the psychological scar of handing over a teddy bear to the prime minister?

Are you saying that the prime minister is so fearsome a personality that facing him to hand over a toy would cause psychological trauma?

I will have to agree with Vish. Im just as curios as him. Dato, you sound like a joker. The little girl will have to bear a physiological scar? in the first place, did you mean physiological or psychological? anyway..whatever it is, it is equally absurd. a scar for handing over a teddy to the PM? Well surely yes if you consider our PM a crook. In that case, that girl would be scared. Dato, even if she bears a scar, it is because you guys detained her dad. It is easy to say now that you guys are fighting for them to be out, but where we you'll when it mattered most? and to say you are fighting for them to be released is a stretch. Coming up with occasional statements against it shows how reluctant you guys are. the only reason you'll do it is to attain a certain degree of political mileage among indians. it is obvious that theres no conviction at all.

Good Day Sir

The unconstitutional manner the Hindraf memebers were detained is totally unacceptable in the first place. Its the first of many goofs the ruling pro-bumi government made on the run up to their disasterous showing in the last polls.
HIndraf is merely a reaction from the Indians after the MIC has failed to address the many plights of the society.
I dare say, the mere sight of seeing an indian man being kicked by a police is sickening and this coming from a person who has 7000 yrs of ancient history feeling absolutely disgusted when a monkey with a mere hundreds of years civilization ( the policeman) kicking her people.
